An absolute stunner, this mystical crystal opal skilfully carved into the shape of a whale tail, a dreamy and tactile opal pendant that is a one off piece.

  • An opal pendant featuring a beautifully carved whale tail, it is double sided so can be worn either way.
  • The crystal displays different colours as it is moved.
  • This piece has bright green flash with some yellow fading to mauve on one side, on the other side which is carved more, the colour is cream fading into mauve with some pale green and a tiny splash of pinky red.
  • This piece has been carved by our master cutter, there will never be another piece like this it is really an amazingly tactile and mystical opal.

Product Details

This Australian Opal pendant is a one off piece, it has been cut and polished by our own opal cutter in our Noosa North Shore studio. The rough opals are sourced by our cutter, they are carefully cut and skilfully polished to reveal the beautiful colour, bright flashes and patination. Each opal cut by us is a solid Australian opal, responsibly sourced and there will never be another piece exactly the same, it is unique.

Care Instructions

Please take really good care of your opal jewellery, avoid any chemical contact including make up, perfume and hairspray. Opals are somewhat fragile and can chip, shatter and be damaged by dropping or any sharp impact. Store in a cloth or a soft jewellery case.

Please be careful with any cosmetic chemical around natural gems as they can damage the surface.

Refrain from putting undue pressure on the necklace.
Dropping your good jewellery can result in stones becoming loose or chipping.
